I always get the urge to bake something sweet during a snow storm. Actually, I get the urge to bake at other times too but there is something about a warm oven and the yummy smell of baking cookies or muffins when outside, it is cold and windy. Last night, Andrew and I were home alone during a heavy snowfall so I dragged out a new cookbook:
This should keep me busy for awhile. There are over 600 recipes in this book. That's a lot of cookies. I was craving something chocolatey so we headed to the "Brownie" chapter. We ended up making the fudgy brownies which were not as good as the recipe you find on the Baker's Chocolate box but they were still pretty tasty!
